Acoustic island for offices

PRESENTATION

Acústica Integral has conducted the installation of Acustiart-3D panels, applying an acoustic and decorative treatment. The acoustic conditioning performed has enabled significantly reducing the reverberating sound level in the commercial office or call centre. In this project, colours matching the environment were used, although it is also possible to use all the range of standard colours without increasing the cost of the product. The installation was performed without disrupting the client's daily activity due to the easy assembly, where the structure of the existing ceiling was used and only a few plates are changed to obtain the desired acoustic comfort. Thus ensuring an optimum quality-price ratio.

Acoustic treatments for Call Centres require different type of actions and have the aim of achieving the adequate background noise level, so that the interference between operators is as low as possible. It should be ensured that the person on the other end of the line can hear well and without interferences. We must achieve for the large amount of simultaneous noise sources to interact without interfering with each other. To achieve this objective, acoustic treatments can be installed on ceilings by means of Acustiart-3D type sound-absorbing panels complemented with treatments in the workstations by means of MA50 acoustic partitions.

The complementary installation of Acustiart type absorbent panels on already existing suspended ceilings is also possible which allows maintaining the existing installation which does not have to be disassembled. In addition to this type of acoustic elements it is possible to install Acustideco type decorative absorbent material on walls, treating additional surfaces if necessary, to achieve an adequate adjustment of the room's reverberation time, and therefore, of the background noise.
